The higher the power, the more a single shot costs. This is how Fishing Joy II focuses the gameplay on leveraging the cost to fire with the money you receive after capturing a fish. Fishing Joy II also has power-up cards that can assist in gaining more money. If you run low on money, Fishing Joy II offers in-app purchases for more coins. This is one of the problems with Fishing Joy II. While it is fun to capture fish, the gameplay design makes it difficult to know exactly how to catch different types of fish. Most of the time, you will have to fire a lot of shots to take down one fish. Larger fish are a gamble because they can take a lot of shots and still escape. There is not a particular way to guarantee the capture of a fish and that gets frustrating. Fishing Joy II offers a leveling system , but it simply requires you to capture fish. Visuals in Fishing Joy II are impressive . The game does not look too different from the first game, but the graphics are crisp and sharp. Even the smaller fish are easily recognized and it is easy to plan your attack. The backgrounds are static and do not really change, Different levels add new fish, but overall you will be seeing the same fish in each level. Fishing Joy II is a fun diversion game and can get addicting. The only problem is the core gameplay of spending money to earn money.
